Aggregates data from other sources regarding research projects (includes EPSRC data). This database contains project information. Each entry has detailed information including names of the academic and industrial parters. It filters on: amount, region and category, also text search in the project titles. For example you can find all the projects with 5G in the title and see what organisations were involved in them.

ESPRC funds research projects. This is a database of all the projects. Each entry has detailed information including names of the academic and industrial parters. It filters on: location, theme, topic etc. For example find all the projects and partner organisations who have taken part in funded research on AI Technologies.

This organisation supports innovation in the semiconductor area. This database contains a list of companies in the area. Each entry has details such as postcode, market, web site etc. It filters on: Location, technology and associated markets. For example you can find the fabricators based in the South-East that are working with photonics.

PLG are a collective in the photonics field. The data source includes over 1000 company names. The majority of items are just names but some contain more detailed information. It can be filtered on location, market, or detailed text search. For example show a clickable map of all companies working in the quantum area.

UKRI evaluates academic research in the UK. This database contains academic organisations and covers all research areas, not just telecoms. Each entry has a rating and information about publications and staff. It filters on: discipline or region (Select HEI or UOA in the dark bar). For example you can find academic institutions in the North-West that are doing research in Computer Science.

UKTIN supports innovation and commercialisation for UK telecoms. This database contains people and organisations in the area who have registered with UKTIN. Members manage their own profiles which can include: web site, region, people working there, text description, social media links. It filters on: technology, sector, region. Also alphabetic list and free-text name search. For example you can find all the registered companies working on Energy Efficiency in the Construction sector.

UKRI KEF helps academia transfer knowledge to companies. This database contains academic organisations. Each entry has a rating, overview of its relation to businesses and text descriptions. No filtering. For example you could find out how good a particular university was regarding its collaboration with businesses.

Digital Catapult is the UK authority on advanced digital technology. This data source contains organisations they have worked with. Each entry has a name and the programmes/projects they collaborated on. It filters on predefined themes: telecoms, startups, etc. For example, find the names of the companies that Digital Catapult worked with on AI projects, and descriptions of the projects.

Cambridge Wireless maintains a members register. This database contains companies involved in wireless, mobile, internet, semiconductors etc. Each entry has company information: description, web site, location, phone etc. It filters on: technology sector, alphabetic list, open text search. For example go through the web sites of member companies that work with antennas.

Look companies up individually or download a spreadsheet of all companies. For example find all the small UK companies that are engaged in wireless telecommunications activities.
